Today is Tuesday.

My verse of the day:

Okay, there are lots of things I want to say - most of which have to do with food.
The LEAST of these would be that I finally took a picture of my beautiful green bread box for your viewing pleasure. It doesn't hold bread. It is the happy home for my camera and our cell phones.

Okay, so now the part that makes my mouth water. Daniel and I both loooooooove Indian food. And last night i was totally craving it. Like, pregnancy craving minus the being pregnant part. The thing is though:
1.) the place we like to go to is a little pricey
2.) We are always the only white people there
3.) We can't read the menu at ALL. The same man is always there and we just ask him to give us "'that yellow curried chicken' and whatever else he thinks we'd like." So as much as we may like it - we're no experts. So we were getting ready to head out the door and I remembered that I'd POSSIBLY seen Indian food at Trader Joe's? So we decided to go there and they had all this in the frozen section and we decided to give it a try:

Go buy these things...NOW. We couldn't believe how good it was. Tastes JUST like Rajhbog - our Indian food place of choice :)

So for $7.50 we gorged ourselves with heavenly things. I think I'm going to try and figure out how to make Chicken Paneer Tikka Masala. Thats our favorite. The kind shown above is the same, only with Tofu. And the SECOND best part - next to eating it, of course, is that your house has that awesome curry smell for hours afterwards. Many of you may not like this, but if they sold curry candles...mmmmmm.

Okay, I'm seriously done. That is all. We are doing well. Room 301 is cheerful indeed :)

I'm feeling a little torn right now...

I started ANOTHER blog.

I know, right? I can barely keep up with one.  Probably not the wisest of moves. Its mindycolemanphotography.blogspot.com. Its linked to this account. I don't really get how that works. In some ways I think I'm tech-savvy and all, but these blogs are just so confusing to me...

ANYWAYS...
These are some of the pictures I've been playing with the past few days that I'm going to be putting up in our apartment! I found TTV screens on Flickr and found 12x12 frames at AC Moore. LIME green frames. We'll need to spraypaint those... but I'm starting with four of them.

And I got the idea from this picture...so you know i'm not that clever. i've seen it done before :P

Will let you all know how it turns out! I'll be heading BACK to Walmart again to try and print them. People do NOT like printing 12x12's. And their machines don't either, apparently.

Love,
Mindy

Right...Now...

Daniel is in our office working on 'school papers' that will only take 15 minutes which OBVIOUSLY means that he is doing something wonderful for my birthday tomorrow!

I'm such an assuming wife. But seriously, its the only logical explanation...He put an empty trash can in front of the door...to...dissuade me, i guess? tehe :)

So other than waiting for my office-dweller, I just finished painting a cute little bread box while watching 3 1/2 episodes of Pushing Up Daisies - which seems like far too much time to paint such a small thing. We bought to turn into a little self contained charging station for our cell phones and HOPEFULLY my camera bag and lenses...I think it will all fit.

ALSO: on a completely unrelated note: we have decided we're writing a book. I don't know EXACTLY how its going to go yet. It will probably just be for fun and be for us and our family, but the only for sure thing is that it will be awesome!!!

So happy sunday tomorrow. Oh, and Christmas songs were on the radio today. I drove to the mall and heard The Little Drummer Boy, Jingle Bell Rock and All I Want for Christmas, and that War Is Over song...maybe thats what its called. I got BACK in my car and heard War Is Over, Jingle Bell Rock (not even kidding) and The Little Drummer Boy AGAIN before I turned off the radio. Hmmm...hope this isn't a pattern, because I do love Christmas music as long as theres a LITTLE variety.
