{a hearing man}

IMG_7250

so, i am well aware that little man doesn't look thrilled about his new super ears, but its only the first day.

its already SO much fun to see him look over at us when we walk in the room. or to hear himself talking. i feel so spoiled. & blessed.

you can see just a snippet of what we taped today below. his response was totally different than i had expected, but so so sweet...

  11. It really puts things in perspective that you feel spoiled having a baby that can hear, while I worry about so many other mindless things. I'm so so happy for you and your family!

  17. I'm following you from Spain (Mallorca island).

    I can't stop thinking how brave you are and how awesome is your little boy. The worst is already passed away and all the best is about to come! Isaac is going to be the happiest man alive ever when he realizes the family he has.
    Keep smiling family, you are our example to live as.

  18. I am a momma of two Deaf boys, both who have implants. One of them is Deafblind autistic, and the other is Deaf, both precious boys given to us through adoption. It is amazing the technology God has provided to help our sweet children. The implants have increased their signing and given them access to environmental sound, and for our youngest, possibly speech (although that was not our goal). Can't wait to see how he reacts to it all over time!
